To ensure that the ring size is correct for their specific finger, we recommend measuring their finger - either directly, or secretly. If you are asking them, see our guides and tips above. If you are secretly measuring their finger, see the String Method above.

ASK FOR HELP

Enlist the help of their friends or family - they might know the size or can help you find out.

GUESS AND RESIZE LATER

If all else fails, guess based on their hand size. Choose a larger size if unsure; it's easier to resize smaller.

RING SIZING TIPS

Measuring your ring size is not always straight forward. Here are our tips for ensuring an accurate measurement.

BETWEEN SIZES
If you're between sizes, it's usually better to choose the larger size. It's easier to adjust a slightly loose ring than to wear one that's too tight.
TIME OF DAY
Measure your finger at the end of the day when it's at its largest. Fingers tend to swell as the day progresses.
TEMPERATURE

Cold temperatures can cause fingers to shrink slightly. If your hands are cold, warm them to room temperature before measuring.

Warm or hot weather can cause fingers to swell. Avoid measuring when your hands feel unusually warm.

CONSISTENCY
Measure 3-4 times to ensure consistency. Your finger size can fluctuate, so taking multiple measurements helps find an average.
KNUCKLE SIZE
If you have large knuckles, consider choosing a slightly larger size to ensure the ring can pass over the knuckle comfortably.
